Lori Hein offers writing workshop at Women at Work Museum

If you're in the area and have an interest in the topic, join me on Saturday, February 17 from 1- 3 p.m. for an informal workshop, "On Writing and Getting Published," at the Women at Work Museum in Attleboro, Massachusetts.

The event is free and open to all, from the aspiring writer to the published pro.

We'll discuss polishing and editing your work; finding markets; using writer's guidelines; finding story ideas; submissions and queries; rights and permissions; conducting interviews; editorial calendars and timing; making rejection work for you; selling your work.

We'll end with a mantra based loosely on the Alec Baldwin character's Always Be Closing war cry in Glengarry Glen Ross: Always Be Writing; Always Be Submitting.

Ribbons: Happiness, guaranteed.
