I always have a lot of book readings and slide shows during the winter months -- people are eager to find entertainment that gets them out of the house. I have a few that will be hosted by private or membership organizations, so it's not my place to invite you to those, but if you're in the area, these events are free and open to the public:
Turner Free Library, Randolph, Massachusetts, Sat., Jan 20 at 2 p.m.: "An Afternoon of American Travel" -- book reading and slide show
Holbrook Public Library, Holbrook, Massachusetts, Tues., Jan. 30 at 7 p.m.: "An Evening of American Travel" -- book reading and slide show
Women at Work Museum, Attleboro, Massachusetts, Wed., Jan. 31, 6 p.m.: "An Evening of American Travel" -- book reading and slide show
Women at Work Museum, Attleboro, Massachusetts, Sat., Feb. 17, 1 p.m.: "On Writing and Getting Published"
